Memcached<\/a> is supported for the SuperPro<\/a> and SuperHosting<\/a> plans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use Memcached, you need to activate it in the cPanel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are using PHP version 7.0 or later<\/strong>, instead of Memcached, you can activate Redis, in cPanel -> Redis Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Login to cPanel and select the “Memcached Manager by SuperHosting<\/strong>” menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the next window you can see the status of Memcached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the memory size (from the hosting account’s memory) which will be allocated for Memcached.  Click on the “Save and Enable<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All changes will take effect within 5 minutes after saving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important<\/strong>: The port is different for each hosting account. After activation, a message for the port you need to use will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a host name<\/strong> you need to use 127.0.0.1.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: After Memcached activation in cPanel, you have to activate it once again in the application (website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please keep in mind that if Memcached is deactivated and then reactivated, the port will change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that you need also to update it in the website settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case that after activating Memcached you cannot enable it for your website (the option is grayed out<\/a>), check and enable the PHP module memcache<\/strong> in cPanel -> PHP Manager.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
