WP-CLI<\/a> is installed on all\u00a0Linux shared hosting servers<\/a> with SuperHosting.BG. In cPanel -> Manager for WordPress by SuperHosting<\/a>\u00a0->\u00a0WP-CLI\u00a0you can check whether WP-CLI is enabled for your hosting account.<\/div>\n

This article might be used for installing WP-CLI into a Linux hosting service where it has not been installed by default.<\/p>\n

1.<\/b> You first need to install the\u00a0composer. For this purpose access the account’s home directory \/home\/cpaneluser\u00a0via SSH and execute the following command:<\/p>\n

php -r “readfile(‘https:\/\/getcomposer.org\/installer’);” | php<\/div>\n

Note: cpaneluser is the username for the hosting account.<\/p>\n

The system will load the following message:<\/p>\n

2.<\/b> After the composer has been successfully installed, you can continue with WP-CLI installation as well. While you are still in the home directory, execute this command:<\/p>\n

php composer.phar create-project wp-cli\/wp-cli –no-dev<\/div>\n

The following window will appear:<\/p>\n

3.<\/b> In the \/home\/cpaneluser\/.bash_profile<\/strong> fil\u0435 you need to add the following line:<\/p>\n

export PATH=\/home\/cpaneluser\/wp-cli\/bin:$PATH<\/div>\n

4.\u00a0<\/b>The .bash_profile<\/strong> file should be reloaded:<\/p>\n

source ~\/.bash_profile<\/div>\n

5.<\/b>The \/home\/cpaneluser\/wp-cli\/bin\/wp<\/strong>\u00a0file needs to have\u00a00755<\/strong> permissions.<\/p>\n

6.<\/b> If configuration has been successful, the command:<\/p>\n

wp –info<\/div>\n

will show WP-CLI’s current status:<\/p>\n
