To issue an SSL certificate, you first need to fill in the necessary data. After you have already purchased an SSL certificate<\/a> from SuperHosting.BG you can configure it in three easy steps through your customer profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First log into your customer profile, go to the menu on the left and click on SSL Certificates<\/strong>. A list containing all SSL certificates purchased from SuperHosting.BG will be displayed. To enter the required information, select the Details<\/strong> option for the SSL certificate with status Awaiting Configuration Data<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you need to fill in the required information in three simple steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>1. Configuration<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To issue an SSL certificate you first need to generate a CSR<\/strong> (Certificate Signing Request).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) CSR (Certificate Signing Request)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generate a new CSR with key<\/strong>: This feature enables you to generate a new request for certificate with the data provided in the form. Choose the length of the – 4096<\/strong> or 2048 bits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important<\/strong>: If the certificate will be used for a server or service that does not support 4096 bit encoding, select 2048 bits for the key. Currently, examples of such services include Google Cloud (Load Balancing) and AWS CloudFront. If the certificate is already issued with a 4096-bit key, you can request a reissue of the certificate with a 2048 bits key – through your client profile \u00bb SSL Certificates \u00bb Details \u00bb Reissue SSL certificate<\/a>.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will use an already generated CSR<\/strong>: Already generated CSR will be used. In this case you have to enter the already generated CSR. The length of the key should be – 4096<\/strong> or 2048 bits.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the CSR has been previously generated on another server, the Key Length may be 4096 or 2048 bits. You can check whether the CSR file is properly generated on the following address: CSR checker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) Domain Name<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below you can read a few important points related to the choice of a domain or a subdomain for which the certificate will be issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
