Java is an object-oriented programming language. It has been developed on demand of the computer giant SUN Microsystems. One of the main developers, James Gosling, is also known as the father of the Java programming language. Java is a platform-independent language, which has been accomplished by means of its incomplete compilation and application of an interpreter. Java is compiled up to one intermediate level or class file, and then this code is interpreted by Java Virtual Machine. As it has been compiled up to one intermediate level, it provides higher productivity than common interpretable languages.
When Java support is included in hosting services, the customer is allowed to run Java applications.
