Exporting Calendars/Contacts from Horde and Importing into Roundcube

Note: Created signatures in Horde cannot be exported. If you want to “transfer” them, you’ll need to recreate them in Roundcube (you can copy their HTML code and paste it into Roundcube).

Calendars

Exporting Calendars from Horde

Log in to webmail through Horde.

  1. Open the Calendar section.
  2. Select the “pencil” icon to edit the calendar (personal or shared).
  3. Open the Export tab.
  4. Click on the Calendar ICS file link.

Save the generated file (events.ics) to your device.

Importing Calendars into Roundcube

Open Roundcube webmail. If you are in Horde, you can select cPanel Webmail Home at the top of the bar and then open Roundcube.

  1. Open Calendar from the left menu.
  2. Select the calendar in which you want to perform the import. You can create a new calendar by clicking the “three dots” button and selecting Add calendar.
  3. Choose Import (at the top of the bar).
  4. Import from file: Click Browse and select the calendar file.
  5. Calendar: Choose the calendar to import the events to.
  6. Events from: Choose how far back in time the events to be imported should go. You can select All (all events).

Complete the process with Import.

The added calendar will only be visible in Roundcube and cannot be shared with other applications.

Address Books

Exporting Address Books from Horde

Log in to webmail through Horde.

  1. Open the Address Book section.
  2. Click on the Import/Export option on the left menu. In the page, look at the second section Export Address Book.
  3. Select the export format: Leave the Comma separated values option.
  4. Select the address book to export from.

Click Export and save the file (contacts.csv) to your device.

Importing Address Books into Roundcube

Open Roundcube webmail. If you are in Horde, you can select cPanel Webmail Home at the top of the bar and then open Roundcube.

  1. Open Contacts from the left menu.
  2. Select Import (at the top of the bar).
  3. Import from file: Click Browse and select the address book file.

Complete the process with Import.

The added address book will only be visible in Roundcube and cannot be shared with other applications.
