Email Account Setup for Thunderbird

Adding a New Email Account

After running Mozilla Thunderbird, select File » New » Existing Mail Account:

File » New » Existing Mail Account

Then enter your name, email address and password for the new account. Click Continue:

After that Thunderbird will try to detect automatically the settings for the mail server. If the operation is successful, a similar window will appear:

Done

Finally you need to click Done and your email account will be automatically added to Thunderbird with an encrypted (SSL) connection to the mail server. With this step your email account is fully configured.
