If you use a WHM cPanel for: VPS or dedicated server and you have created your own hosting packages with monthly bandwidth, users will see the following message when the bandwidth limit is exceeded:

To avoid this, you can use the “Send bandwidth limit notification emails” option in WHM. When that option is activated, the system will send email notifications for the account’s monthly bandwidth usage. In this way users will have enough time to prevent a possible website suspension.
With the Reseller service, email notifications are enabled by default and are automatically sent every time when an account exceeds 80% of the monthly bandwidth.
