Redis Manager by SuperHosting

Redis is supported for the SuperPro and SuperHosting plans. To use Redis, you need to activate it in cPanel.

Activating Redis in cPanelLogin to cPanel and select the “Redis Manager by SuperHosting” menu.

Choose the amount of memory that will be allocated for Redis. Click on the “Save and Enable” button.

All changes will take effect within 5 minutes after saving. Information about the host and the port will appear on the Redis server after activation.

Important: The port for the Redis server is different for each hosting account. After activation, a message for the port you need to use will appear.

Redis is activated

You need to set up 127.0.0.1 as a host name in the web application settings.

Note: After Redis activation in cPanel, you have to activate it once again in the application (the website).

Please keep in mind that if Redis is deactivated and then reactivated, the port will change.

This means that you need to also update it in the application settings.

If you have enabled Redis, but the caching is still inactive for your website, check and enable the PHP Redis module in cPanel -> PHP Manager.
